What does a tour cost?
A complete guided tour costs a one-off 3.99 € – no subscription, no account. For that you get every stop of your walk with audio narration, quiz, and in family mode quests with a stamp card.
How many different tours are there?
Practically unlimited. Every combination of interests, time budget, company and starting point makes its own route – starting either from fixed points like the Holstentor, the main station and the market square or exactly where you’re standing.
Do I have to install an app?
No. jawnt runs straight in your phone’s browser – open jawnt.app or scan a QR sticker in the city, done.
Is jawnt suitable for families with children?
Yes. Family mode turns the tour into a treasure hunt with quests and a stamp card, told in a child-friendly way. There are quiz questions in both modes – with jawnt you’re always guessing along.
Can I share my tour?
Yes. At the end of every tour jawnt builds you a personal postcard – with your stops, your quiz result and, if you like, your own photo and greeting. One tap and it’s in the family chat or your story.
What does a postcard from the kiosk cost?
Browsing and designing are free – even with your own photo as the motif. You only pay when you send: 0.99 € per card, from 3 cards automatically at the bundle price of 1.99 €. Each card in the bundle can have its own motif. The Lübeck motifs come from local photographers, who are credited and linked on every card.
Which languages are the tours in?
In 12 languages: German, English, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Icelandic, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian and Polish – narration and audio, not just the interface.
Are the stories actually true?
Every narration is based on verified sources you can view right on the spot. Where something can’t be documented, jawnt doesn’t tell it – better shorter than invented.
